My work has become increasingly elaborate over time and images which were once constrained to the canvas have spilled off onto the wall.
Working directly on the wall allows me to create my imagery at a larger-than-life scale. The confusion and complexity present in my paintings becomes more open and readable on the wall. Layers of imagery present in my paintings are opened up on the wall, allowing me to literally create layers in space, which begin to have a sculptural quality resulting in intriguing muralscapes.
